As part of the series, we have reached the 6th chapter & now sitting at the stairs to the holiest pond of Ekamra Kshetra. As we enjoy the setting sun shining on the water surface, we remember the story of Devon Ke Dev Mahadev & His love for Devi Parvati.

After killing Kirti and Vasa, Devi Parvati decided to take a rest while Lord Shiva massaged Her feet to make Her feel comfortable. To appease the angry Goddess & quench Her thirst Lord Shiva struck the earth with His trident making a spring flow out of it. He then invited all the holy water bodies to join in the form of “Bindu” (droplets) to create one of the holiest ponds. Formed with each droplet of all the holy waters, this is known as Bindusagar.
