Forbidden

Forbidden Thoughts, Forbidden Smiles,

Forbidden Words, Forbidden Ailes,

Forbidden-Forbidden-Forbidden Lives,

They’ll creep you inside, the Forbidden Vines…

I seek fire in the rain,

The unturned leaf, the greasy terrain,

But when words create hives in my mind,

It chokes the voice & seals me blind

No fear of tomorrow, No souls to blame,

An irony so epic, An idea so lame,

The memories are all overridden,

But all they say is it’s forbidden…

Forbidden Love, Forbidden Dreams,

Forbidden Hope, Forbidden Screams,

Forbidden-Forbidden-Forbidden Themes,

They’ll wash you away, the Forbidden Streams…

Sunday mornings, winter nights,

The abyss of thoughts holds me tight,

Whiskey and Sunsets,

I feel alone with the sky,

Touch me with your eyes,

I forgot to be shy,

Let the unhinged talk,

My soul is tired,

Cover me in your arms,

It’s all I’ve ever desired…

A forbidden world, in forbidden times,

May we know the worth of forbidden rhymes,

Stand down, O’ Victor, the arrows are up,

It’s a forbidden song, be ready to give up…
